The Solution UAE

A ‘first-ever’ party plane is taking off from Dubai next month

Forget economy, it’s time to go Party Class

With an abundance of rooftop bars, nightclubs and pool parties to shimmy the night away at, we don’t need to tell you there are many ways to let off steam in the city.

But to go one better and bolder, a first-of-its-kind party plane is taking off from Dubai next month and you’re invited.

Egyptian electronic dance music festival Sandbox and UAE record label Moe’s Records have joined forces with travel concierge service Escape Code to launch a direct music and party flight.

Calling it ‘AIRBOX Dubai’, the flight will take off on Wednesday May 7 and ensure you arrive at the festival site in style. Forget economy class, it’s all about party class.

Reserved only for festival goers, the one-way charter flight from Moe’s Records will transform the sky into a dance floor, with live DJ sets and signature mixed drinks to keep the energy high while 30,000 feet in the air.

The flight departs Wednesday evening on May 7 from Dubai and takes you straight to the festival, which is held across the Red Sea Coast in Egypt and takes place on Thursday May 8 to Saturday May 10.

A ‘historical first’, the party plane promises to minimise travel hassle and eliminate layovers, whilst giving attendees a glorious taste of what’s to come at the legendary three-day open-air festival.

A party plane to Sandbox? Out-of-the-box thinking at its finest.

The AIRBOX Dubai experience will take off from Al Maktoum International Airport and arrive at Hurghada International Airport.

The flight will take around three-and-a-half hours before guests embark on a 30-minute transfer to the final destination.

Flight and festival packages start from Dhs2,126 and include one festival pass, a one-way flight and one airport transfer from Hurghada International Airport to Downtown El Gouna.

Tito El Kachab, founder of Sandbox by Nacelle, said that the charter flight has been a longtime coming.

He said: ‘We’ve been dreaming about doing a party charter flight from somewhere for a few years now and make a real experience out of it. Now thanks to Moe’s Records and Escape Code the dream has become a reality.

“This collaboration brings a whole new dimension to your trip to the festival, starting the party early and at 30,000 feet.

“While also improving the travel experience from Dubai. We’re thrilled to add this to one of the many new things you can expect at Sandbox 2025, our most immersive edition yet.”

As well as arriving via a party plane (cool, right?), there are also hotel packages available for three or five days at El Gouna resort, starting from Prices start from Dhs3,892 (which includes two full festival passes).

Flight packages start from Dhs2,126. Flight prices based on current availability and will depart from DWC Airport on Wed May 7.
